HomeDialect uses only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the Service. Under EU law these don't require consent, so we don't show a cookie banner. We use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.

Cookies

• app.session_token and app.session_data (or their __Secure- versions): keep you signed in. Expire after 30 days of inactivity or when you sign out.
• app.two_factor: remembers a device you trusted for two-step verification (30 days).
• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the interface language you chose (1 year).
• tz: your time zone, so dates are shown correctly (1 year).

Browser storage (on your computer only)

• theme: light or dark appearance.
• bc.* keys: broadcaster preferences on this computer (last audio input, left/right channel, listening volume, last languages and provider).
• listen.lang.* keys: on listener pages, the last language a listener picked.

Payments

When you open the checkout, Paddle (our payment partner) may set its own cookies needed to process the payment and prevent fraud. See Paddle's cookie policy.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in.
